MEMPHIS, Tennessee, February 7, 2012 – Asentinel, a technology-driven Communications Lifecycle Management company, today announced details of its new on-demand webcast, “Five Essential Questions for a Successful TEM RFP.” The presentation is designed to help global enterprises develop and execute RFPs in the Telecom Expense Management space that lead to the best service provider matches and most successful long-term partnerships and results. The program features a Q and A with Eric Goodness, a vice president in Gartner Research, where he is the agenda manager and customer lead for Managed Services in the Communications sector.

With so many potential Telecom Expense Management needs at the global enterprise level, and an equal number of approaches and solutions at the provider partner level, it is easy for companies to get lost, or worse yet, fooled during the RFP process. Companies often focus on the wrong issues, generating false impressions that can lead to poor partnerships. Asentinel understands the environment and wants to do all it can to make sure every company finds the best match for their needs. At the same time, the company knows from experience that there are a few basics that must be understood in every selection process.

During the focused 6-minute webcast, viewers will understand why these five questions are essential and what they can expect to get from a potential TEM partner by asking them. The questions are:

•How do you address service automation and smart services?
•What is the strategy for a successful implementation and on-boarding?
•What do your SLA’s include and how do you define and support them?
•How do you perform proper due diligence on your proposed TEM provider?
•How do you secure and deliver an optimal ROI?

In addressing each question, Goodness gets to the heart of critical TEM issues. His answers provide insights into why certain things are important and how to get to such measurable items as successful implementation schedules, level of automation, degree of support and the ultimate measurable – ROI.

“I hear virtually every day from companies who say they might have made a better TEM decision if they had known what questions to ask and what answers to look for,” said Richard Janis, SVP of Asentinel. “No one benefits from a bad fit, so as an industry leader we want to do all that we can to makes sure it doesn’t happen. We know we will not always be the best fit for a company, but we want to make sure that decision is made intelligently and with all the right data.”

The webcast is available on the Asentinel website at http://www.asentinel.com/tem-rfp.html.

The New York City based global company will use Asentinel as an Outsourced TEM Platform and Service solution. Prior to Asentinel, the company operated in a highly labor intensive environment for telecom management of wireline and wireless services. Their primarily internal process included extensive paper invoices and manual keying, very limited audit ability, fragmented contract and vendor management discipline and minimal reporting capability. The result was overpayment of invoices and often devices being billed after being made inactive.

“The customer selected Asentinel because of our technology, expertise and people”, said Richard Janis, SVP of Asentinel. “With inadequate procedures in place for invoice processing, highly siloed data across several business units and countries, and thousands of global employees, the company needed to be able to report on its telecom data and get key analytics into the hands of its decision makers. The expectation is thorough auditing and continued process management that leads to immediate savings and long-‐term control and visibility.”

As a global technology leader to large clients and governments, the company clearly understands the value of configured solutions supported by enterprise software and a best-‐in-‐class outsourcing team.

The major utility company in the Northeastern United States selected Asentinel’s Hosted, Managed Service solution. Similar to the above client, the utility is a first time user of professional TEM services and was in need of better reporting and business intelligence to take control of its telecom spending. With numerous divisions in gas and electric service, multiple wholly-‐owned subsidiaries, and dozens of disparate telephony carriers, the company was challenged with inconsistent policy enforcement. That made Asentinel’s experience across all carriers and its reporting capabilities very important in the selection.

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, January 10, 2012 – Asentinel, a technology-‐driven Communications Lifecycle Management company, today announced a record breaking performance in 2011, led by a combination of 100 percent customer retention and new business acquisition.

During the 12 month period from January through December 2011, the spend under management grew aggressively, fueled by a combination of strong growth from multi-‐national companies and penetration from clients based outside of the US which grew at a 73 percent rate, and a 100 percent contract renewal rate. New Business Growth, as measured by new account acquisition, additionally grew by 31 percent.

The global growth is a result of Asentinel’s ability to receive, read, map, allocate and audit invoices from an unlimited number of worldwide carriers, regardless of currency or invoice format. Asentinel’s dual operations centers, in the US and Europe, provide optimal multilingual and time zone support for clients doing business in a single geographic region, or large multinational organizations with cross-‐continental requirements.

The company attributes much of its growth and success to the fact that it holds the only comprehensive U.S. patents in Telecom Expense Management for its groundbreaking software. The patents relate to systems and methods for providing telecom expense management that enable large corporate users to save millions of dollars on their telecommunications services. These patents include more than 80 claims issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

“The kind of growth and retention we accomplished during the year stems from many different strengths and variables,” said Asentinel CEO David C. Perdue. “Our aggressive defense of our patents, including several license agreements during 2011, exceptional customer service, strong product offerings in the categories that global enterprises desire, and a track record of achieving meaningful and ongoing savings for our customers all play a role in our growth. We are especially proud that we exceeded our own historical 95 percent retention rate during 2011.”

One category of global growth and demand in the industry is in Mobile Expense and Device Management, also known as Mobility Management. Asentinel had an excellent year in this important category as well, realizing record volumes of mobile devices under management during 2011. The company’s significant growth in its Mobility Management suite of products and services contributed to its highest level ever of mobility as a percentage of all telecom assets and telecom spend under management.

In support of its growing global business, Asentinel recorded a 22 percent growth in the number of employees during the 12-‐month period.

“As we look toward 2012, we see an acceleration of trends experienced in this prior year,” added Perdue. “These include increases in multi-national clients, an enhanced focus on mobile, and more business built on cloud-‐based client managed solutions. In all cases, software dependability and exceptional customer care will be critical measures of success in which Asentinel excels.”

Asentinel Announces Patent Licensing Agreement | Business Wire

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Dec 20, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Asentinel, a technology-driven Communications Lifecycle Management company, today announced it has entered into a Telecom Expense Management (TEM) patent license agreement with MER Telemanagement Solutions Ltd, The Info Group, and MTS Integratrak , providing service under the AnchorPoint brand. Under the terms of the agreement, Asentinel has provided a worldwide non-exclusive license to U.S. Patent Nos. 7,340,422 and 7,805,342 and related U.S. and foreign counterpart patent applications to the licensees.

The patents relate to systems and methods for providing telecom expense management that enable large corporate users to save millions of dollars on their telecommunications services. These patents include more than 80 claims issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Asentinel had previously initiated a patent infringement lawsuit against the licensees, Veramark and Cass Information Systems in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, accusing the defendants of infringing the referenced patents. The agreement with the licensees includes payment for past damages and an ongoing 4 percent royalty on future telecom expense management revenues. Additional terms of the agreement are confidential. Asentinel had earlier announced a licensing agreement with Veramark and another unnamed major player in the TEM industry.

“The fact that numerous companies in the TEM industry, including several of the earliest TEM industry participants, have entered license agreements with Asentinel highlights the strength of our patent portfolio,” said Asentinel CEO David C. Perdue. “We are pleased with the continued growth of our core TEM business, while at the same time we are continuing our licensing program with ongoing licensing discussions for our patents and software. We are committed to the continued growth of our patent portfolio and look forward to working with other industry participants to license our software and patents.”

Asentinel is represented by Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox PLLC and Farris Bobango PLC.

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, December 15, 2011 – Asentinel, a technology-driven Communications Lifecycle Management company, today announced it has been selected to provide a cloud-based client managed solution to one of North America’s leading providers of pharmaceutical care for seniors. The pharmaceutical care company, which services more than 1.4 million residents of skilled nursing, assisted living, and other healthcare facilities in 47 states and Canada, was seeking a technology-centric TEM solution to manage its more than 2,000 monthly invoices across 150 carriers. After an in depth service provider review, the client choose Asentinel.

“This customer required a solution with enhanced asset management capabilities, improved workflow and analytical reporting,” stated Richard Janis, Sr. Vice President for Asentinel. “Without a current TEM solution in place, the company’s existing telecom services team was inundated with time consuming and error-prone manual processes, including invoice review and charge allocation. The opportunity to deploy Asentinel’s patented software to deliver a thorough audit and validation of all charges was another critical component in the decision.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, Dec 01, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) — AOTMP, a leading telecom management resource to both enterprises and telecom expense management (TEM) and wireless mobility management (WMM) suppliers, today announced the launch of its 2011 State of the Industry Report. Serving as the essential guide to the telecom management industry, the report includes research-based insight into the current state of the telecom management industry, identifies key trends affecting the marketplace, and provides a listing of TEM and WMM suppliers based on enterprise client satisfaction.

One significant theme identified in the report is the lack of perceived differentiation amongst TEM and WMM supplier offerings. With seemingly identical services, competition on price as opposed to capabilities and performance satisfaction has become common for suppliers.

“Many organizations perceive that technology and services are created equal and often make purchasing decisions based primarily on price,” says Timothy C. Colwell, senior vice president of global information management at AOTMP. “Price compression in the market frequently results in suppliers limiting the scope of their offerings to meet pricing demands. This effect can result in service performance below client expectations and leave them dissatisfied. Our enterprise-based customer satisfaction research monitors these types of activities.”

Based on feedback provided by more than 1,066 professionals across 644 companies, AOTMP identifies 22 TEM and WMM suppliers in the report who have been rated based on enterprise client satisfaction. The companies qualified for the listing by receiving a sufficient amount of ratings to be representative of their customer base.

While AOTMP has intelligence on more than 100 TEM and WMM suppliers, the following 22 organizations (listed alphabetically) qualified to be listed in the report:

1. Advantix Solutions Group 2. Amtel 3. Asentinel 4. Avalon Global Solutions 5. Cass Information Systems 6. Comview 7. MDSL 8. mindWireless 9. MOBI Wireless Management 10. Movero, Inc. 11. MTS 12. Network Control 13. PAETEC Software Corp. 14. ProfitLine 15. Rivermine (a division of Emptoris) 16. Tangoe, Inc. 17. TeleManagement Technologies, Inc. (TTI) 18. Telesoft 19. Veramark 20. Vision 21. Wireless Analytics 22. Wireless Watchdogs

Individual profiles on each of these TEM and WMM suppliers are now available for purchase through AOTMP’s Online Store. Advisory support is also readily available.

Twenty-five minutes into the race, John Roelofs started to fret.

All but one of the runners had long since finished. It was a 2-miler, the regulation distance for middle school cross country. The fastest runners can finish the course in less than 12 minutes. The pack comes careening across the line a few minutes after that.

“I usually stand at the same place,” said Roelofs. “At the top of a hill toward the end of the course, encouraging them to go up.”

He waited. No sign of Jonah Ginn, the last runner. At this point, Roelofs made a call to a friend on another part of the course.

“Have you seen him?” he asked.

No dice.

Roelofs started to trace his way back over the course.

“Then here he comes, struggling along,” he said.

Roelofs said a few words of encouragement. Jonah — not about to quit his first race ever — responded with a faint smile. What happened next is enough to renew your faith in this enterprise we call sports.

“I was in tears,” said Phillip Ginn, Jonah’s father. “Everyone was in tears.

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, November 17, 2011 – Asentinel, a technology-driven Communications Lifecycle Management company, today announced that its web site now features an option to view the site in 53 different languages. The highly dynamic translations through Google Translator allow Asentinel to communicate with its customers and prospective customers from around the world.

“The needs for telecom expense management have no international boundaries or language requirements,” said Richard Janis, SVP of Asentinel. “Because of the growing global presence of Asentinel and the needs for strong telecom expense management services around the world, we felt it was appropriate to make our web site more accessible to an internationally diverse client base.”

The language selection option is a simple dropdown at the top right of the Asentinel site. Users select the language of their choice and the site is dynamically translated. Once users are viewing the translated copy, they can click on any copy block or word and see the original English and can select alternative translations as well.

With partners and offices throughout the world, Asentinel offers Global TEM solutions for Global fixed and mobile services, and is able to process invoices in all languages, currencies and billing formats. Asentinel’s dual operations centers, in the US and Europe, provide optimal multilingual and time zone support for clients doing business in a single geographic region, or large multinational organizations with cross-continental requirements.
